Hello, my name is René. As a professional chef and manager of a well-known restaurant in the Basque Country, a region famous worldwide for its gastronomy and the importance of cooking in our society, I have always made an effort to stay at the forefront of every new development affecting the management of my establishment.
As a colleague, I’m sure you’ll understand me when I say that everything that happens in the kitchen is my responsibility, which is why I try to find creative solutions to all of the everyday problems.
Today I want to tell you about one for which I couldn’t find suitable answers on the market, and which encouraged me to develop a solution on my own: a tool that would help improve the power for cutting different foods with knives, while at the same time protecting the hands of myself and my assistants from discomfort and injury.
SKOON is the result of a lengthy creative process of designing and manufacturing a new grip for professional knives that, at least in my kitchen, has become a fundamental tool for increasing productivity and improving hygiene and occupational safety.
And I want it to be useful in yours too.
